1. Remove the lower blade and clean it piece by piece.

2. The blade can be used on all sides, and the selected side shall be closely installed. Check the straightness of the blade in both horizontal and vertical directions.

3. Remove the upper blade and clean it piece by piece. Similarly, the blade can be used on all sides, and the selected side can be closely installed. Check the straightness of the blade in both horizontal and vertical directions.

4. The upper blade is fixed and cannot be adjusted. We adjust the blade clearance of the plate shearer by adjusting the lower blade.

5. Find out that the left and right screws of the lower blade are generally on the outermost side.

6. Find the left and right setscrews of the lower blade that push the lower blade to narrow the gap. There are locked spare nuts on them. Usually on the inside.

7. Loosen the left and right four bolts of the lower blade table.

8. Manually turn the machine to lower the upper blade to the proper position, and the operator will go to the blanking area of the shear to start adjustment.

9. Use a feeler gauge to roughly adjust the upper and lower blades of the left hand to 0.5mm.

10. Manually turn to move the blade up to the middle position and roughly adjust it to 0.5mm.

11. Manually turn to move the blade up to the position where the upper and lower knives are not disengaged on the right, and roughly adjust the middle position to 0.5mm.

12. Lower the upper blade to the proper position by manual turning and start fine adjustment.

13. Use a feeler gauge to fine adjust the position where the upper and lower blades of the left hand are not engaged until three threads of the feeler gauge can enter five threads.

14. Turn the gear manually to move the blade up to the middle position and start fine adjustment until three wires of the feeler gauge can enter five wires.

15. Manually turn the gear to move the blade up to the position where the upper and lower knives are not disengaged on the right side and start fine adjustment until three wires of the feeler gauge can enter five wires.

16. For the new car, the above is fine adjusted to ensure that three wires of the feeler gauge can enter five wires.

17. For an old car, fine tune the feeler gauge so that ten wires can go in and twenty wires can't go in. Or make appropriate adjustment according to 1/10-1/20 of the required cutting sheet metal thickness.

18. When the cutting edge of the plate shearer is sharp, if the edge of the sheared plate has burrs, the gap between the upper and lower blades can be appropriately reduced.
