Common faults and troubleshooting methods of hydraulic gate shears

    Gate shearing machine is the most common and most commonly used shearing equipment in machining, which can cut steel plate materials of various thicknesses. The hydraulic gate shearing machine has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving and low noise.

    Daily use of hydraulic gate shears will inevitably lead to some failures. The following editor will share with you the common faults and troubleshooting methods of hydraulic gate shears:

    1. Check the gas pressure of the accumulator:

    The gas pressure of the accumulator needs to be checked frequently (about every 30 days). Use the accumulator nitrogen charging tool (CQJ-160) attached to the machine. If the nitrogen charging pressure is less than 4.5Mpa, it should be supplemented.

    2. Oil filling of accumulator During the use of the machine (or after the machine tool is repaired), if it is found that the oil filling pressure of the accumulator is insufficient (or when it needs to be refilled with oil), it should be filled with oil in time.

    3. Sharpening and replacement of blades:

    The blade must be sharpened on a regular basis, and if it is not sharpened for a long time, it seems to be easy, but it will actually cause a lot of waste. If the blade is cut bluntly and continues to cut, the outer grain structure of the blade will be damaged due to excessive pressure, which will damage the equipment and obtain good cutting quality. After the blade is sharpened, the damaged crystalline outer layer will be eliminated. Therefore, a complete blade sharpening schedule should be formulated according to the specific production situation. It is best to have a set of sharpened blades for spare, so as not to affect production.

    We recommend the following sharpening schedule:

    1) After 80 - 100 hours of operation, the blade will change sides (edge change). The upper and lower blades of this machine tool have 4 cutting edges, which can be changed three times.

    2) Sharpen the blade after 320 - 400 hours of operation, if it is seriously damaged, the blade needs to be replaced. After sharpening or blade replacement, the blade clearance must be rechecked and adjusted.

    4. Maintenance of hydraulic system:

    4.1 Hydraulic circuit:

    1) Regularly check the oil level of the fuel tank. If the oil level is lower than the center line of the oil mark, refuel to the center line of the oil mark immediately;

    2) After installation and test run, the first oil change must be carried out after working for one month (200 hours);

    3) After every 2000 hours of work, the oil must be changed;

    4) The hydraulic oil used must meet the requirements, and its viscosity is 27~33 centistokes;

    5) The oil tank must be thoroughly cleaned every time the oil is changed.

    4.2 Oil filter:

    1) Regularly clean the oil filter installed at the end of the oil inlet of the oil pump, and clean it with a solution such as gasoline or trichloroethylene. The cleaning is carried out according to the following schedule: the first cleaning is carried out after the machine tool is put into use for 8 days, and the cleaning is used for every 30 days after the work;

    2) If the oil filter assembly is seriously damaged, it must be replaced in time.

    4.3 Air filter:

    1) The air filter is installed on the fuel tank;

    2) After the machine tool is put into use for 500 hours, it should be cleaned for the first time, and it should be washed with gasoline, vinyl chloride and other solutions. After 1000 hours, it must be cleaned once.

    5. Inspection of mechanical parts:

    All fasteners must be checked once a week for looseness and lubrication and wear of the friction pair of the guide gauge. If any abnormal situation is found, it must be corrected immediately before it can be used.

    6. Adjustment of safety relief valve:

    In order to ensure the normal production of the shearing machine, the adjustment of the safety relief valve is very important, and it should be adjusted according to the maximum allowable working pressure.
